CYKEL Selected to Present at BUILD with Mapbox 2026
CYKEL Technologies has been selected to present at BUILD with Mapbox 2026, showcasing how we are using location technology to turn traditional bike and scooter rentals into interactive rider experiences.
Taking place virtually from September 15–17, BUILD with Mapbox brings together developers, product teams and innovators working across mapping, navigation and location technology.
On September 17, CYKEL Founder & CEO Daniel Godfrey and Business Development Manager Mitch Flight will take part in Show & Tell at BUILD, sharing how CYKEL is using Mapbox to create a new type of experience for micromobility riders.
CYKEL is building an end-to-end platform that helps rental operators get more from the bikes and scooters they already have, while giving riders a better way to explore.
Through the CYKEL app, riders can access self-guided experiences that combine rich cycling navigation with location-aware audio, interactive content, challenges and local discovery. Mapbox sits at the heart of these experiences, allowing CYKEL to use location not simply to show riders where they are, but to shape what they discover along the way.
Throughout summer 2026, the CYKEL team has been testing and refining the platform with riders and rental operators in Vancouver. BUILD gives us the opportunity to share some of what we have built, what we have learned from those real-world pilots, and where we believe location technology can take micromobility next.
Daniel Godfrey and Mitch Flight will present CYKEL during Show & Tell at BUILD with Mapbox on Thursday, September 17 at 1:00 PM PDT.
BUILD with Mapbox 2026 takes place virtually September 15–17.
